Red Wine Stain Rescue Tips for a Stress-Free Holiday

As the joyous holiday season approaches, Thanksgiving dinners bring families and friends together, often accompanied by the rich hues of red wine. However, the threat of red wine stains on table linens and clothing can add a touch of anxiety to the festivities.

I have a fond recollection of my grandfather and every holiday dinner he would spill his glass of wine.  It became a running joke in our family of not if he will spill, but when, and we all predicted when it would happen than have chuckle when we were correct on the timing.

Fear not, as quick and effective action can salvage the day. If a spill occurs, act promptly by blotting the stain with a clean white cloth to absorb excess wine. Avoid rubbing, as it can exacerbate the issue.

Red wine has a substance called tannin in it which is also found in coffee and teas.  This substance is what causes the stains to be difficult to remove.  Parkway Cleaners has a cleaning agent designed to treat and remove tannin stains.  We have a 90% success rate on removing tannin stains completely.
