After collecting and recycling over hundreds of pounds of the plastic film covering the dry cleaned garments, the Parkway Cleaners community donated a Trex bench to Starkweather Elementary School.
The donation came from a program with Trex that recycles poly plastic bags and turns it into eco-friendly outdoor products. Parkway Cleaners has long embraced Eco-Friendly Green values, encouraging hanger recycling, poly bag recycling, and utilizing safe, organic products and processes in all its operations.

That is why we encourage customers to bring back the hangers so we can re-use them and keep them out of the landfill, and when we saw the push for reducing plastic bag waste, we took a proactive approach to help our customers recycle the plastic while also helping the community by being able to give back by providing benches.”
